The Prophets were chosen by Allah to guide mankind to the Divine Path. They faced many difficulties and suffered severe hardships in their efforts to call their straying people to obey and worship Allah.
Allah has sent about 124000 Prophets on the earth for the guidance of mankind. The first Prophet was Adam while last Prophet was Muhammad.
Although a large number of prophets were sent on earth but we don’t have names of all of them. Quran mentions names of some of the Prophets.
